Collapsible Silicone Pot Strainer

I love this!!! Usually, I use the lid of the pot to strain some of the things I cook, but this prevents any heat or splashing from hitting my arm that holds the lid. It also saves a lot of space from those traditional strainer. The only issue I had at first was placing it on my pot. It take some getting used to and if you have problems gripping or have arthritis this product is not for you. You have to really squeeze the clips to place it on the pot. Especially if it has a thick rim.

I was really skeptical of using this in the beginning. I wasn't sure how it could work on so many different sized pots. After reading another review about how her husbabd had to fix it so jt would sit on it properly I took that advice. The first couple of times using it you have to figure out how to make it fit but after that it was & still is super easy to use. My pots all have lips on them & if I put it on the side opposite of me it is very quick. They fit several different sizes & takes up such a small amount of space! I live this thing. Straining angel hair is awesome too. No more losing noodles!

I posted a video with details on how this thing works, but it is seriously a game changer! I was sick of washing our big strainer all the time after boiling pasta and this thing is awesome. It‘s easy to clean and it hooks onto almost any pot and pan! It works beautifully. It’s dishwasher safe and heat resistant. See photos and video for more info. I love the idea of the product and it does work, there are just two small complaints I have. The main one is it's just a bit tough sometimes to clip/un-clip but that could be that it's still pretty new (only used a handful of time) and it may become easier over time. The other is minor but it doesn't sit flat like the colander can when condensed flattened, so it I don't have it put in the drawer just right it won't close.

I bought this so that draining grease would be easier. And it is! Love the color! Love how durable the material is, love that it fits ALL sizes of pots and pans. It only leaks if you don‘t have it butted up against the rim of the pan/pot. So make sure you have it in place prior to pouring.
