2-in-1 Stand Charging Cable

As a charging cable I think this works pretty well. At least my phone stated it was on a fast charge. Of course you have to have the correct charging block as well. I like the idea of being able to use or not use the stand portion. Standing the phone vertically it will stay put. However, its easy to knock it over if you bump it at the top. Going horizontal is the way to go for stability. The longer cable, with the available velcro tie, also works well. As you can see in the photo, I was able to have it be neat and tidy on my nightstand. When using on my desk the longer cord works well for placement just about anywhere. The cable seems pretty solid and durable. The only issue I have with the cable is that the folds can cause the phone to tip over. I assume that should correct itself over time if you leave it stretched out. I don't game on my phone so I can't speak to that aspect of it.

The C-C cable works well, has a cover that feels like it will bend some but will not break at the ends due to heat, cold, or repeated use. I would have preferred a 4 ft cable but could only find 6 ft ones on Amazon. I also bought a couple of Anker USB to C cables primarily to be able to connect my phone to a car for GPS apps. So the 2 extra ft might come in handy.

This is a 4.9-foot USB-C to USB-C cable that supports charging and data. The main draw for me was the 90-degree connector and the claim that the cable can double as a phone stand.

The 90-degree angle is legitimately useful, especially in tight spaces or when a cable is constantly getting bumped in the truck or around kids. It also looks like the USB-C tip has a slightly longer insert than average, and the connector housing has reinforcement, so I am not too worried about the plug getting twisted or snapped from normal daily torsion.

Where it falls short is the ”stand“ feature. The stand is more gimmick than function. If your phone has a case on it, or if there is any extra weight or uneven balance, it does not hold reliably. Even without a case, the cable’s natural pull from the power source creates torque that makes the setup unstable. Yes, you can try using it horizontally, but the stand concept still feels flimsy in real use.

That said, the stand legs do seem to add some structure around the connector, and serendipitously it ends up creating a very stout connection when plugged in.

Build-wise, this is the braided version and it feels tough. I am personally more of a fan of Chubby‘s silicone cables for pure durability, but this braided one still feels rugged and like it will hold up well over time.

These cords are absolutely great for charging your phone unlike the traditional cords. The adapter is sideways. Therefore, when you set your phone down on a surface, it‘s not being pushed up to cause breaking it charges your phone very fast and is very durable. It comes in a package of two often when you live with teenagers they’re always borrowing your phone charger and my kids loved mine so much that they all wanted their own many packages of these were purchased in our household. They are fast durable And the feature of the way the adapter is on the cord is amazing.

My wife is a serial tablet and phone cable killer but she hasn't managed to kill this one, which to me speaks volumes about its durability. Both ends plug in securely to chargers and devices, and there have been no issues with intermittent connections.
