I kind of like these little guys, I have a display that is constantly being moved and the cord has to be pulled out so that you can move it. I decided to try these on it to see how they hold up. The connection between the two halves is really solid, it takes some grip to pull them apart, so I'm not worried about them coming off on their own. I did find it to be a bit of a pain getting the clear section to unlock and open, I broke 2 of the hinges. So technically one of the six was a loss. Closing the clamp was actually pretty easy, I was also pushing the limit as the display is a 14 gauge which is bigger then what it is built to accept, but it worked fine. No bulging or coming apart. The positive terminal is listed, but only on the one side, if it was on both it would have made life a little easier. All in all I think these have their uses, I would do them again if the opportunity comes up

These wire connectors make for super quick and easy splicing, with no stripping needed because the wire jacket is pierced when the lid is closed tightly, which in my case did require a pair of pliers to get them to lock. Two connectors then click into each other to quickly connect two sets of wires, and they can be disconnected by just pulling them apart. I tested one of these connectors with different types of wires and it worked well each time (with no obvious wear) so they can be reused if need be. Good quality and fair price make these a great option. Highly recommended.

Good wire connectors. 16-1Really good quality wire connectors. This allows you to splice two wires together and connect them. The plugs connect to each other. They're made of a ABS like material and have a clear section with two opening for the holes. You pop the clear cover up and you can insert your wire. It will accept 16-18awg wire. They plug in securely with each other. There is a positive voltage polarity indicator so you know which side is the +V. Overall they work really well and you get an ample amount in the package. Good value.
